Normalerweise machen sie keine F\u00fchrungen, ich sch\u00e4tze, Stillstand ist gleichbedeutend mit verlorener pro-Duktion. Aber am Wochenende der Triumph Live-Veranstaltung vor dem Heritage Centre in Gaydon hat Triumph genau das getan. Wir hatten unsere Eintrittskarten f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung fr\u00fchzeitig gekauft und erhielten am Freitagnachmittag vor der Veranstaltung aus heiterem Himmel eine Einladung zu einer Werksbesichtigung in Hinkley. Fantastisch.<\/p>\n<p>Wir fuhren also hinunter, ohne zu wissen, was uns erwartete - und ganz sicher nicht in der Erwartung, die gesamte Fabrik betreten zu k\u00f6nnen, mit Personal, das entspannt und hilfsbereit alle Fragen beantworten w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<p>Wir parkten inmitten der heruntergefahrenen Triumphs und schlenderten zu einem offenen Tor an der Seite des Fabrikgeb\u00e4udes. Dort trafen wir auf fr\u00f6hliche, l\u00e4chelnde Mitarbeiter, die uns zeigten, wo wir unsere Ausr\u00fcstung deponieren konnten, und uns kurz erkl\u00e4rten, was wir sehen w\u00fcrden - dann ging es ab in die Auslieferungshalle.<\/p>\n<p>Es war unglaublich, eine Reihe von fertigen Fahrr\u00e4dern zu sehen, die in T\u00fcten und Kartons verpackt und auf Regalen f\u00fcr den Versand gestapelt waren. Und auch die Ersatzteile - eine riesige Reihe von 675er Vorder- und Hinterradfelgen - wir haben sie abgeholt. Sie waren unglaublich leicht f\u00fcr die Leistung und die Beanspruchung, die sie aushalten m\u00fcssen. Und ein Lob an die Triumph-Mitarbeiter: Solange wir uns an die abgesteckten Routen hielten, durften wir so viele Fotos machen, wie wir wollten, und mit herumliegendem Material hantieren. Nachdem wir durch einen Bereich mit einigen Daytona 675-Motoren und einigen in Teilen gebauten Motorr\u00e4dern gegangen waren, betraten wir den pro-Produktionsbereich proper, den ersten Teil, der voller Fr\u00e4smaschinen, Poliermaschinen und \u00d6fen war, in denen die Kurbelwellen, Kurbelgeh\u00e4use und Zylinderbl\u00f6cke fertiggestellt werden.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery III?\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Um ehrlich zu sein, haben wir nicht wirklich erwartet, dass diese Art von Technik im Haus gemacht wird. Heutzutage wird ein Gro\u00dfteil dieser Art von Engineering au\u00dferhalb des Standorts in Fabriken durchgef\u00fchrt, und die Teile werden in einem Montagewerk zusammengef\u00fcgt. Aber hier in Hinkley werden die Gussteile angeliefert und vor Ort fertiggestellt, bevor sie zum Montageband gebracht werden. Wir sahen Fr\u00e4smaschinen, Poliermaschinen und einen riesigen Ofen, in dem 16 verschiedene Kurbeltypen gebacken werden. Wir sahen auch die Zylinderk\u00f6pfe von Rocket 3 und Thunderbird Storm in verschiedenen Bearbeitungsstadien. Wie Sie auf den Bildern sehen k\u00f6nnen, hat Triumph einige Exponate der verschiedenen Komponenten ausgestellt, die wir bestaunen konnten. Ich dachte, meine Rocket III-Zylinder seien gro\u00df genug - bis ich die Thunderbird-Storm-T\u00f6pfe sah. Sie waren gigantisch.<\/p>\n<p>Und so gingen wir zum besten Teil \u00fcber - dem Flie\u00dfband. Als wir vorbeikamen, wurden gerade vier Modelle geputzt - die Rocket 3, Thunderbird Storm, Tiger und (ich glaube) eine Street Triple. Zuerst sahen wir nur die Motoren - riesige Klumpen auf einem Flie\u00dfband. Riesige Regale mit Bauteilen, die alle beschriftet und in Beh\u00e4ltern, K\u00e4sten und Regalen gelagert waren. Kiste um Kiste mit Nockenwellen und Regale mit Rocket-Hinterr\u00e4dern. Von einem Flie\u00dfband f\u00fcr den Zusammenbau von Rahmen und Motoren werden sie dann auf ein H\u00e4ngesystem gewickelt, das die Fahrr\u00e4der auf Personenh\u00f6he h\u00e4lt, so dass der Rest des Motorrads hinzugef\u00fcgt werden kann - Kabel, Gabeln, R\u00e4der, Tanks usw. usw. Es sah alles unglaublich organisiert - und sauber und ordentlich - aus, aber ich denke, das ist heutzutage bei allen pro-Produktionslinien der Fall. Ich hatte das Gl\u00fcck, vor ein paar Jahren die McLaren F1-Fabrik in Woking zu besuchen, und ich war verbl\u00fcfft, wie makellos sauber die Werkst\u00e4tten waren - alles wei\u00df und literally nicht ein Tropfen \u00d6l oder das kleinste Staubkorn (dieser Ron Dennis muss ein Traum sein, um mit ihm zu leben - 'Nee, lass mal, wir r\u00e4umen morgen fr\u00fch auf ;-)).<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-4' Man bekam nicht viel von dem mit, was dort vor sich ging, denn es standen eine Menge sehr gl\u00e4nzender und sehr fertiger Fahrr\u00e4der herum, die auf Herz und Nieren gepr\u00fcft werden sollten. Es gab ein oder zwei Fahrr\u00e4der mit Aufklebern, auf denen Fehler und Verbesserungen vermerkt waren, die vorgenommen werden mussten.
