Ich war im Laufe der Jahre auf einigen Motorradausstellungen - und habe dabei meist ein halbes Auge auf die dort zum Verkauf stehenden Sturzhelme geworfen. Es hat sich schon immer herumgesprochen, dass Motorradmessen ein gro\u00dfartiger Ort sind, um ein Schn\u00e4ppchen zu machen - Endst\u00fccke und Leinen, die sich nicht verschieben lassen, werden dort billig verscherbelt.<\/p>\n

Nun, das war sicherlich fr\u00fcher der Fall, aber in letzter Zeit habe ich festgestellt, dass, w\u00e4hrend fr\u00fcher einige der gr\u00f6\u00dferen Einzelh\u00e4ndler und sogar einige Sturzhelmhersteller auf den Messen auftauchten, in den letzten Jahren eine Invasion von H\u00e4ndlern zu beobachten war, die scheinbar auf den Markt dr\u00e4ngten, um Geld zu verdienen. Es liegt mir fern, die Qualit\u00e4t ihrer 1TP132Produkte und ihre Beweggr\u00fcnde zu verunglimpfen - wir alle m\u00fcssen ein oder zwei Scheine verdienen, und das ist auch gut so - sie haben eine Gelegenheit gesehen und Geld auf den Tisch gelegt, um zu versuchen, eine Rendite f\u00fcr ihre Investition zu erzielen. Aber als Kunde, der auf der Suche nach einem Schn\u00e4ppchen bei einem in meinen Augen seri\u00f6sen H\u00e4ndler war, wurde ich ein wenig desillusioniert und habe in den letzten Jahren mein Geld in der Tasche behalten.<\/p>\n

Letztes Jahr jedoch schien sich alles zu \u00e4ndern. Ich wei\u00df nicht, ob es an der Beteiligung von Carole Nash an der NEC-Show lag, aber die ganze Sache schien einen Gang h\u00f6her zu schalten. Viele Hersteller zeigten ihr komplettes Sortiment an Fahrr\u00e4dern - und auch die Einzelh\u00e4ndler schienen ihre Angebote erweitert zu haben. Au\u00dferdem gab es dort ein paar Helmverk\u00e4ufer, die echte Schn\u00e4ppchen anboten, darunter auch die verstorbene George White Ltd. So sehr, dass ich einen sch\u00f6nen AGV S-4 Deckel von ihnen f\u00fcr \u00a345 in rot-wei\u00df ergatterte.<\/p>\n

Es ist ein sch\u00f6ner, leichter Helm, der sich \u00fcberraschenderweise meiner Kopfform anpasst, was bei den meisten AGVs nicht der Fall ist. OK, beim Ausprobieren des Helms auf einer Spritztour \u00fcber das Moor ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Visier wie ein Kaleidoskop leuchtete, wenn irgendein heller Lichtpunkt darauf traf - was ein bisschen beunruhigend ist und, wenn ich dar\u00fcber nachdenke (kein Wortspiel beabsichtigt), prowahrscheinlich der Grund ist, warum sie ihn so billig verscherbelt haben. Und mit Visieren kommen in rund \u00a3 30 + in diesen Tagen, vielleicht war es nicht das Schn\u00e4ppchen, das ich mir erhofft hatte.<\/p>\n

Allerdings hat sich mein Bruder auch einen leuchtend gelben, aufklappbaren BMW-Deckel zugelegt, der zu seiner S1000RR passt, und ich habe dort kein Gejammer geh\u00f6rt. Gehen Sie also mit offenen Augen hinein.
