Wenn Sie ein Motorradfahrer sind, wissen Sie wahrscheinlich etwas \u00fcber den goldenen ACU-Aufkleber auf der R\u00fcckseite von Sturzhelmen. Aber wenn Sie das nicht wissen oder eine Auffrischung brauchen, lesen Sie weiter.<\/p>\n

ACU steht f\u00fcr die Auto Cycle Union, die seit 1906 f\u00fcr den Motorradsport im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich zust\u00e4ndig ist und deren goldenen Aufkleber Sie auf der R\u00fcckseite vieler im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich erh\u00e4ltlicher Sturzhelme finden.<\/p>\n

Nur Helme mit einem goldenen ACU-Aufkleber k\u00f6nnen auf einer Rennstrecke im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich verwendet werden. Die einzige Ausnahme ist, wenn Sie von au\u00dferhalb des Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreichs kommen und Ihr Helm von einer anderen von der FIM autorisierten Organisation gepr\u00fcft wurde.<\/p>\n

Sie werden jedoch \u00fcberrascht sein, dass sie nicht f\u00fcr alle Helme vorgeschrieben sind, d. h. nicht alle Helme ben\u00f6tigen eine ACU-Plakette. Trotzdem sa\u00df er in der Boxengasse und die Marshalls winkten ihn durch.<\/p>\n

Auch wenn die ACU einen Helm mit dem goldenen Aufkleber approval auszeichnet, ist es eigentlich Sache des H\u00e4ndlers\/Importeurs, den Aufkleber auf dem Helmdeckel anzubringen - und nicht alle tun dies. Wenn Sie also einen Helm kaufen, von dem Sie glauben, dass er mit der ACU-Goldplakette approval ausgezeichnet ist, sollten Sie Ihren H\u00e4ndler bitten, zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen, ob die Plakette tats\u00e4chlich auf den Helm geklebt wurde.<\/p>\n

Wenn Ihr Sturzhelm nicht ACU-gepr\u00fcft ist, k\u00f6nnen Sie trotzdem einen Aufkleber anbringen lassen, indem Sie den Helm direkt an die ACU schicken und ihn von ihr pr\u00fcfen und genehmigen lassen - vorausgesetzt, er erf\u00fcllt die Kriterien der ACU. Ein letzter Hinweis: Wenn Sie Ihren Helm zu einer Offroad-Veranstaltung mitnehmen, muss er einen silbernen ACU-Aufkleber tragen, keinen goldenen.<\/p>\n

Es ist zwar gut, einen ACU-Goldaufkleber auf Ihrem neuen Helm zu haben, aber er ist eigentlich nur erforderlich, wenn Sie auf der Rennstrecke fahren wollen. Wichtig f\u00fcr jeden Helm ist jedoch, dass er der Norm BS6658:1985 entspricht, das BSI-Kitemark tr\u00e4gt und ECE 22.05<\/a> approved zum Verkauf in der EU. Im Idealfall schneidet Ihr Helm auch bei den SHARP Helmtest<\/a>. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist und Sie einen Unfall haben, kann das zu einer sehr direkten und bedeutsamen Interaktion zwischen Gehirns\u00e4ften und Asphalt f\u00fchren. Das kann furchtbar unangenehm sein.<\/p>\n
