Hoffentlich wird der fertige Helm nicht so gro\u00df wie dieser!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Es sieht ganz danach aus, als w\u00fcrden HUDs (Heads-up-Displays) im Jahr 2016 an Fahrt gewinnen.<\/p>\n

Zun\u00e4chst gab es die Skully AR1<\/a> der im Sommer '16 auf den Markt kommen soll. Und jetzt BMW Motorrad hat seine erste HUD Helm prototype aus gezeigt.<\/p>\n

BMWs Version wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas weniger ambitioniert als die von Skully. Es verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber alle \u00fcblichen Funktionen, die man erwarten w\u00fcrde. Die wichtigste ist das Displayglas, das vor dem rechten Auge des Fahrers sitzt. Wie Sie auf dem unten abgebildeten Display sehen k\u00f6nnen, werden Informationen wie Geschwindigkeit, Drehzahl, Gang usw. angezeigt. Au\u00dferdem gibt es die promise von anderen Funktionen, wie z. B. Navigationshilfe und Unfallbenachrichtigungen.<\/p>\n

Das Interessante an BMWs System, das dem Unternehmen auf dem Markt einen Vorteil verschaffen k\u00f6nnte, ist die Tatsache, dass das System aufgrund der internen Entwicklung potenziell Zugriff auf die gesamte an Bord der BMW-Maschinen installierte Technik hat. Das bedeutet, dass sie m\u00f6glicherweise auf alle anderen Daten zugreifen k\u00f6nnen, die von der Onboard-ECU und den Computern ausgegeben werden, einschlie\u00dflich Kraftstoffstand, Reifendruck, Motormodus usw. Das sind Daten, auf die Wettbewerber von Drittanbietern nur schwer zugreifen k\u00f6nnen und die ihre Systeme ein wenig schwach aussehen lassen.<\/p>\n

Und hier ist eine, die sie vorher zubereitet haben!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich kann man dar\u00fcber streiten, wie viele Informationen der Fahrer braucht - oder will -, bevor sie ihn zu sehr ablenken. Und ich sch\u00e4tze, das ist Teil des proest- und proest-Prozesses: den goldenen Mittelweg zu finden.<\/p>\n

In der Zwischenzeit wird es interessant sein zu sehen, wie sich diese Technologien entwickeln und zu welchem Preis sie auf den Markt kommen - und auch, wie viele Leute sie kaufen, da ein gro\u00dfer Teil des Reizes des Motorradfahrens darin besteht, sich von Ablenkungen zu befreien und sich nur auf die Stra\u00dfe und die Landschaft zu konzentrieren.<\/p>\n
