Hoy en d\u00eda, todos llevamos una visera antirrayas. Y cuando sale el sol, muchos de nosotros tambi\u00e9n llevamos una visera tintada. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es legal y qu\u00e9 no lo es?<\/p>\n

Visera tintada
\n<\/strong>Para ser legal, el consenso parece ser que una visera tintada debe dejar pasar m\u00e1s de 50% de luz. Si est\u00e1 m\u00e1s tintada que eso, entonces es ilegal, como regla general. Sin embargo, las cosas son un poco m\u00e1s complejas (\u00bfno lo son siempre?).<\/p>\n

Para empezar, la polic\u00eda ha recibido instrucciones de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Jefes de Polic\u00eda para... escucha esto... Utilizar el sentido com\u00fan<\/em> Esto significa que si la visera se utiliza durante el d\u00eda y con buena visibilidad, en general no hay problema. Si no se utiliza en las condiciones adecuadas, se suele aconsejar un tir\u00f3n de orejas y una buena charla. Seg\u00fan el Ministerio de Transportes, si un visor no es apto para uso nocturno, debe llevar estampado el texto \"S\u00f3lo para uso diurno\". Tambi\u00e9n deben llevar una E dentro de un c\u00edrculo (la marca internacional approval) junto con el n\u00famero de pa\u00eds (E11 es el Reino Unido). Las viseras tintadas tambi\u00e9n deben llevar el sello BS4110:1979 o la Directiva 89\/686\/CEE del Consejo.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, ahora que formamos parte de la UE, las viseras tintadas no tienen por qu\u00e9 ser Kitemark approved. Mientras la visera cumpla las normas europeas, no hay problema.<\/p>\n

Visera antiara\u00f1azos<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al igual que las viseras tintadas, parece que las viseras antirrayas son legales siempre que superen la norma brit\u00e1nica. Deben llevar el sello X, XA, YA o ZA para indicar que cumplen la legislaci\u00f3n pertinente sobre viseras antiara\u00f1azos. Si no llevan el sello, no son legales.
