Parece ser que est\u00e1 sacado de un programa de la televisi\u00f3n australiana de finales de los 80 en el que un tipo inventa algo bastante radical: \u00a1una rueda de motocicleta sin buje!<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el v\u00eddeo, parece que lo que hizo fue ampliar tanto los rodamientos que toda la llanta es un c\u00edrculo de rodamientos, eliminando as\u00ed el cubo hasta donde suele estar la llanta. Me imagino que se requiere una gran precisi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica para crear rodamientos ligeros, finos y fiables que puedan utilizarse de esta manera, lo que supongo que puede ser una de las razones por las que este tipo de rodamiento no se ha generalizado. Otra raz\u00f3n suele ser que los fabricantes convencionales reconocen que el p\u00fablico tiende a rehuir las innovaciones radicales en sus motos, aunque supongan un paso adelante en t\u00e9rminos de tecnolog\u00eda. Estoy pensando en algo como la Yamaha GTS de los a\u00f1os 90, aunque la historia est\u00e1 llena de ejemplos similares.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n me hizo pensar que Australasia en aquellos d\u00edas era un poco un hervidero de innovaci\u00f3n en motocicletas. Estaba la <a title=\"Motos Britten\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Britten\">Moto de carreras Britten<\/a> que promised cosas maravillosas (s\u00f3lo para ser truncado por John Britten temprana muerte).<\/p>\n<p>En fin, basta de divagaciones.
