Ya sea en el lugar de los hechos para evaluar las lesiones craneales o en urgencias para que el motorista se encuentre c\u00f3modo y se investiguen m\u00e1s a fondo las lesiones, tendr\u00e1n que quitarse el casco.<\/p>\n<p>Como todos sabemos, a veces es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil decirlo que hacerlo; incluso cuando estamos en plena forma y lo hacemos nosotros mismos, \u00a1puede haber bastantes tirones y forcejeos!<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, para el personal de emergencias que retira un casco desconocido a otra persona, posiblemente en una posici\u00f3n inc\u00f3moda en una escena de accidente muy cargada, esto puede significar que hay muchas posibilidades de causar m\u00e1s complicaciones en el cuello y la columna vertebral.<\/p>\n<p>Esto ha llevado a algunos fabricantes de cascos a incorporar a sus productos el denominado EQRS o sistema de extracci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de emergencia, que facilita la extracci\u00f3n del casco y reduce la tensi\u00f3n en el cuello.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_does_EQRS_work\"><\/span>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona el EQRS?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>B\u00e1sicamente, se trata de un sistema que facilita la extracci\u00f3n de algunas de las almohadillas del interior del casco y que permite hacerlo con el casco puesto. Por lo general, esto significa extraer las almohadillas de la parte inferior del casco sin quit\u00e1rselo primero.<\/p>\n<p>Al retirar las almohadillas de las mejillas, se dispone de m\u00e1s espacio para quitarse el casco con cuidado, lo que minimiza la necesidad de mover demasiado la cabeza y provocar lesiones.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes ver si un casco tiene EQRS mirando la parte inferior del casco. Suele haber un par de leng\u00fcetas rojas en la parte inferior del forro que se pueden agarrar para sacar las almohadillas de las mejillas del casco.
