Mais si ce n'est pas le cas ou si tu as besoin d'un rafra\u00eechissement, lis ce qui suit.<\/p>\n<p>ACU est l'acronyme de Auto Cycle Union, l'organisme responsable du sport motocycliste au Royaume-Uni depuis 1906. Son autocollant dor\u00e9 figure \u00e0 l'arri\u00e8re de nombreux casques de protection en vente au Royaume-Uni.<\/p>\n<p>Seuls les casques portant un autocollant dor\u00e9 de l'ACU peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s sur une piste au Royaume-Uni. La seule exception concerne les personnes qui ne sont pas originaires du Royaume-Uni et dont le casque est approved par un autre organisme autoris\u00e9 par la FIM.<\/p>\n<p>Mais tu seras peut-\u00eatre surpris de constater qu'ils ne sont pas obligatoires pour tous les casques, c'est-\u00e0-dire que tous les casques n'ont pas besoin d'un autocollant ACU. Ils ne concernent que l'utilisation du casque de protection dans le sport - l'autocollant dor\u00e9 indiquant les casques dont l'utilisation est autoris\u00e9e dans les courses. C'est pourquoi, si vous pr\u00e9voyez une journ\u00e9e sur circuit, les commissaires jetteront un coup d'\u0153il \u00e0 votre casque pour voir s'il est ACU approved. Cela dit, ils fermeront souvent les yeux si votre casque semble neuf ou en bon \u00e9tat. Je viens de faire une journ\u00e9e de piste \u00e0 Oulton Park et mon fr\u00e8re a un casque BMW flip up tr\u00e8s chic et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez surpris de voir qu'il n'\u00e9tait pas ACU approved. Il s'est quand m\u00eame assis dans la voie des stands et les commissaires lui ont fait signe de passer.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, si l'ACU peut d\u00e9cerner l'autocollant d'or approval \u00e0 un casque, c'est en fait au distributeur\/importateur qu'il incombe d'apposer les autocollants sur l'opercule - et tous ne le font pas. Par cons\u00e9quent, lorsque tu ach\u00e8tes un casque que tu penses \u00eatre dot\u00e9 de l'autocollant ACU gold approved, demande \u00e0 ton revendeur de v\u00e9rifier que l'autocollant a bien \u00e9t\u00e9 appos\u00e9 sur le casque.<\/p>\n<p>Si ton casque n'est pas homologu\u00e9 par l'ACU, il est toujours possible d'y apposer un autocollant en envoyant le couvercle directement \u00e0 l'ACU, qui le v\u00e9rifiera et l'homologuera, \u00e0 condition qu'il r\u00e9ponde aux crit\u00e8res de l'ACU. Consulter le site web de l'ACU pour plus de d\u00e9tails sur la marche \u00e0 suivre - ou voir le site web de l'ACU. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acu.org.uk\/Organiser\/ACU-Handbook.aspx\">section sur les casques dans le manuel de l'ACU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, si vous emmenez votre casque \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement tout-terrain, il doit \u00eatre muni d'un autocollant ACU argent\u00e9, et non dor\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, s'il est bon d'avoir un autocollant ACU Gold sur son nouveau casque, il n'est en fait n\u00e9cessaire que si l'on pr\u00e9voit d'aller sur la piste.
