MT helmets (Manufacturas Tomas S.A. - named after the founder) has been making motorcycle crash helmets in Cartagena, Spain since 1968. They are the largest helmet brand in Spain and are now starting to become better known in other EU markets, including the UK, although to date they're still pretty low profile. Having said that, MT are getting a reputation for producing high quality, safe lids at a very low price (many sub £100). In fact MT has been known to pop into our top 10 safest helmet brands list from time to time, meaning if you're in the market for a new helmet but don't have much money to spare, MT are definitely worth a look.
