Ruroc are a UK helmet brand that started off making snowboarding gear. Since they were successful in making snowboarding helmets, they found a natural fit in moving into the motorcycle helmet market with their Atlas range of helmets.
At the time of writing, they’re now on their Atlas 2.0 carbon fibre helmet which they promote almost exclusively through Facebook advertising and sell using ‘drop’ marketing techniques where they release new designs and sell in limited numbers direct from their website.
It appears they manufacture their helmets in Italy – I’m guessing at one of the well-established helmet makers as there’s a ton of them in Northern Italy – but send them for finishing (paint and decals) in China. Their helmets are pretty top-end and use premium materials such as carbon fibre shells.
They’re available in ECE and DOT certified variants (for European and US markets) and a couple have been independently tested in the UK by the SHARP labs where both scored very well (see the reviews for details).
Similar to Icon Helmets, Ruroc makes aggressive, street fighter style helmets with in-yer-face graphics.
