Many helmets come with integral sun visors these days. These are small polycarbonate visors that drop down from inside the shell of the helmet and have a cut-out for the nose. They’re usually operated by a slider to the left hand side of the helmet or on the crown. All sun visors should be scratch resistant though most aren’t anti-fog so can steam up a little. If you do lots of riding, especially if you’re fed up of swapping visors or live somewhere you might get caught out by a lowering sun, then we highly recommend buying a helmet with integral sun visor. If you’re convinced, all the helmets below come with one.
