6D Helmet Reviews

Like many helmet companies, 6D was started because their founders had a strong desire to create a new and better motorcycle crash helmet. They were founded in 2011 in Brea, California, with their name derived from an engineering concept called the 6 degrees of freedom – in the case of 6D helmets that means that the helmet shell can move independently of the head in 3 dimensions including rotation around each axis. 6D started creating dirt bike helmets but have since moved into producing helmets for road bikes too.
