Motorcycle Helmets with 5 Year (or longer) Warranties

5 year warranties – usually covering manufacturing defects and not consumables like visors – are becoming increasingly common. Bell, Shark, Schuberth, Nolan and HJC are all offering them and more and more helmet makers are having to join them to compete.

Why five years? Well that’s how long most helmet manufacturers say a helmet will typically last before you should replace it. If you want a five year warranty (and why wouldn’t you?!) you might want to buy one of the helmets on these pages. But do read the small print because many makers want you to register before they’ll extend the standard – shorter – warranty (if we’re aware they do, we’ll add it into the review).

Here’s all our crash helmet reviews for helmets that we know come with a five year warranty.
