Fibreglass Helmet Reviews only

Fibreglass – sometimes also known as glass-reinforced plastic or GRP – is a popular construction material for motorbike crash helmets. Fibres of glass are laid in a polymer such as epoxy resin or a thermoplastic to produce a very strong and durable matt of material that’s relatively cheap to produce but easy to mould into complex shapes. In a crash helmet, it makes for a lightweight and strong helmet with a shell that’s able to stand significant abrasion and substantial impacts before cracking.
